Abstract

Full Text

The paper is concerned with synthesizing a state observer of a salient-pole permanent-magnet-excited synchronous motor, as well as the structure of an adaptive output filtering subsystem in order to reduce the influence of the pulsation component in estimates of the stator rotation EMF on restoring current information accuracy about the rotor immeasurable mechanical coordinates. As a filtering output device, a band-pass filter with the function of automatic adjustment to the setting effect was proposed in this article, which ensures that the resonant frequency is monitored at the electric drive operating point. A variant of the algorithm mathematical model for observing the immeasurable mechanical coordinates of the salient-pole permanent-magnet-excited synchronous motor rotor based on sliding modes was obtained, as well as a functional diagram of this observer algorithm was formed. In order to verify the operability of the proposed algorithmic solutions, the paper presented the results of digital modeling in the MATLAB/Simulink software package. The simulation results showed that the synthesized observation algorithm based on the deliberate organization of sliding modes provides a qualitative assessment of the salient-pole permanent-magnet-excited synchronous motor state, as well as low sensitivity to the manifestation of object non-stationary properties and the influence of external influences from the load. In addition, a band-pass filter with an automatic adjustment function provides high-quality suppression of multiharmonic pulsations caused by the discontinuous nature of processes in the observer, which is why the structures discussed in this article make it possible to implement sensor-free vector control of a synchronous electric machine in all quadrants of the mechanical characteristics plane.
