Laureate of the Prize of the Government of the Russian Federation in the field of science and technology for young scientists; holder of a European quality diploma (Diploma di Merito) and a gold medal of the European Scientific and Industrial Chamber; diploma and the title of Honored Worker of Science and Education of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences. Holder of grants of the President of the Russian Federation for state support of scientific research of young Russian scientists - candidates of sciences (2009–2010) and doctors of sciences (2015–2016, 2017-2018), holder of the scholarship of the President of the Russian Federation for young scientists carrying out promising research and development in priority areas of modernization of the Russian economy (2013–2014). Member of the organizing and program committees of international conferences, whose proceedings are indexed in the Scopus and Web of Science database: International Scientific and Technical Conference "International Conference on Industrial Engineering" (ICIE); International scientific and technical conference "Electrical complexes and systems" (UralCon); International Scientific and Technical Conference "Automation" (RusAutoCon); International Conference on Automated Electric Drive (ICEPDS).

V.R. Khramshin is a well-known scientist in the field of highly dynamic and energy-saving electrical systems of industrial enterprises. Under his leadership, a scientific direction is being developed to create interconnected automated electric drives, automatic process control systems for technological units, information and control electrical systems. Under his scientific guidance, 3 candidates of technical sciences were successfully trained in the specialty 05.09.03 - Electrical complexes and systems.

He is the author of more than 250 scientific and educational works, incl. 3 monographs, 25 RF patents, 10 textbooks and 80 scientific papers included in the Scopus and Web of Science citation databases.
