Abstract
The article describes the results of theoretical and practical implementation in real industrial conditions of automatic system of fuel-efficient control, which realize the asymmetric mode of heating of continuous cast slab blanks in a continuous furnace in unsteady operating conditions of broadband hot rolling mill. Considering the significant heat losses in lower zones of heating, the system of control realizes depending on real industry situation differentiated distribution of supply of fuel in the upper and lower zones of heating of furnace in proportions 0.8-1.0 depending on the temperature of moving blanks along the length of the furnace. The coefficient of asymmetric distribution of heating loads between upper and lower zones changes from 1.0 at maximum productivity of the furnace (symmetrical heating) up to 0.8 when the productivity of the furnace is 20% of the maximum. The control of fuel-efficient mode of heating in the upper zones is carried out by the surface temperature of the heated metal, which is measured by the optical pyrometer. In the lower zones the control is executed on the temperature of the working space and measured by thermocouples in carborundum protective glasses.
