Abstract

Full Text

The application scope of optical radiation power supply systems (RPSS) is much wider than traditional systems. But, like any power supply system, it is characterized by a level of efficiency, which can be used to judge the overall performance. The efficiency level of the optical radiation supply system for measuring devices directly depends on the operation of the elements forming the system. The main position in the system is occupied by a photovoltaic converter (PVC), which convers laser radiation into electrical energy. Having studied the current state of FVC production, it was revealed that the leading manufacturers of these elements are foreign companies. The level of their efficiency exceeds 50%, while prototypes of domestic production have an efficiency level of about 30%. There is a need to conduct a study of the factors affecting the converter efficiency and the modernization of existing FVC models.
